This automated people-to-people workflow connects employees, so they can develop or learn new skills from each other. This ritual matches employees with the purpose to learn and develop their skills, which is meant to increase employee retention and engagement.
How does it work?
- In order to start the matching process, first you need to enroll in the Skills Matching ritual.
- The crucial step in the enrolment process is filling out a mobile-friendly matching questionnaire. If you were invited by an admin, you will get invited via email to fill out the matching questionnaire. If you are proactively enrolling without an explicit invitation, you’ll be directly forwarded to the matching questionnaire once you click the “Enroll” button.
- In the next step, select your preferred role in the mentoring program (e.g. mentor, mentee or both) and fill out the questionnaire in order to get matched with another employee. The matching questionnaire required your input about expectations, professional expertise, skills, motivation and preferences in order to ensure the best possible match for you.
- After filling out the matching survey, don’t forget to click on “Submit”.
- Finally, you will get an email notification with your match suggestion. There, you can accept or decline it. After accepting your match you can start working towards your learning goals together supported by a synchronized workboard on Mentessa.
