Since 2012, Tech Open Air (TOA) has been the hotspot for purpose-driven entrepreneurs, artists, professionals, and students to co-create a future of technology where humans thrive. As the biggest European innovation festival, TOA19 took place from July 2–5 in Berlin and brought together innovation experts, business leaders, political activists, renowned artists, and tech visionaries across four stages.
One of these stages — the Innovation Stage — was dedicated entirely to the startup ecosystem. We are proud that Mentessa was one of only thirty startups invited to pitch their innovative solutions there.
During her presentation, our founder and CEO Dr. Tina Ruseva highlighted how technological capability is reshaping the workplace and enabling new ways for employees to learn, collaborate, and grow.
In addition to the pitch, Tina was selected for an exclusive mentoring session with Techstars Managing Director Jag Singh, held at the Google Beach. Techstars, launched in 2006 in Boulder, Colorado, is one of the world’s most competitive seed accelerators, having supported more than 1,600 startups with a combined valuation of $18 billion.
Our presence at TOA19 also attracted the attention of several media outlets, including the Associated Press, which interviewed Tina on topics such as the future of work and the evolving role of mentoring in modern organizations.
Participating in TOA19 was an inspiring milestone for Mentessa, reinforcing our mission to empower people through meaningful connections and human-centered technology. We’re grateful for this opportunity and excited about everything that comes next.
